Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book our wedding planner?
We recommend booking 12β18 months in advance for full planning, especially for peak-season dates (MayβOctober). For partial planning or day-of coordination, 6β9 months is ideal. That said, we've planned beautiful weddings in as little as 3 months β reach out and we'll find a way!
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely! We've planned celebrations in Napa, Carmel, Tahoe, and internationally. Travel fees vary by location and are outlined in our custom proposal. We work with local vendors at every destination to ensure seamless execution.
What's the difference between full planning and partial planning?
Full planning covers every aspect from venue search to the final send-off β we're with you the entire journey (12+ months). Partial planning is for couples who've already secured a venue and key vendors but need professional guidance to fill in the gaps and coordinate the final months.
How does day-of coordination work if we've already planned everything?
We step in 4β6 weeks before your wedding to review all contracts, create a master timeline, confirm vendors, and run the rehearsal. On your wedding day, we're the single point of contact β handling setup, vendor arrivals, timeline management, and any hiccups so you can be fully present.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer flexible payment schedules tailored to each package. Typically, a 30% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance spread across monthly installments leading up to your event.
What's your cancellation or postponement policy?
We understand that life happens. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled date within 12 months, subject to availability. Full details are outlined in your contract.
Can we meet the team before committing?
Of course! We offer a complimentary 60-minute consultation β in person or via video call β to understand your vision, answer questions, and see if we're the right fit. No pressure, no obligation.
Do you handle corporate events differently from weddings?
Yes β corporate events have different priorities: brand alignment, AV production, run-of-show precision, and executive-level communication. Our corporate team brings experience from tech, nonprofit, and agency event production.
What's included in your 'emergency kit'?
Our day-of kit carries everything from fashion tape and stain remover to sewing kits, safety pins, aspirin, phone chargers, and backup florals. If something goes wrong, we've probably got a fix.
